Labor Solutions seeks a proven Senior Sales Representative (SSR) serving the food processing and preparation industry in the Mid-Atlantic Region to join our Corporate Development Team. We are looking for a proven food staffing sales or B2B food industry sales leader with significant experience in the food processing/preparation sector (poultry/pork/beef/further processing/meal kits) looking for significant career advancement. You will serve as a strategic partner selling staffing solutions to our clients, leveraging our qualified and reliable temporary workforce. In addition, this professional Senior Sales Representative will leverage our CRM to prospect, network, and communicate with new and existing clientele, differentiating you from other companies within the industry.

$120K base salary (negotiable up based on experience) plus unlimited commissions and bonuses. The ideal candidate will earn $220K+ annually with full-time benefits.

This is not a manager role. Only proven producers with experience will be considered.

The SSR’s sole responsibility is to grow our food processing staffing business. You will prospect companies that utilize contingent labor through long-term contracts - which is fulfilled by our operational and branch-level teams (recruit, hire, train, and staff).

The SSR will manage a network of internal and external relationships, such as community or industry relationships, to actively acquire new clients and/or expand existing clients and enhance the client experience. Labor Solutions focuses on bringing the entire company to the client by presenting our full range of staffing solutions. The SSR will leverage reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and successfully convert sales opportunities.

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ATTRIBUTES:

Customer-Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized staffing solutions in the food processing industry.

Client Relationship Management – Knowledge and ability to determine and satisfy client needs and maintain a partnering relationship during staffing engagements; includes influencing, communicating, presenting, facilitating, managing, and developing the opportunity from inception to close. We will coach the right candidate who has food industry relationships to help convert them into staffing clients.

Prospecting – Knowledge of prospecting principles, processes, and skills; ability to identify and engage potential customers in the market. Build relationships and create opportunities. Plan, strategize, and target the right industries. Create value propositions and proposals with impact.

Selling – Applies knowledge of Labor Solutions products and services to meet customer needs and enable them to achieve their HR staffing goals. Develops prospecting approaches to find potential customers and create opportunities to sell staffing solutions and ideas to customers.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:

  • Proven experience and network within the food processing and preparation industry. Candidates may have a background in sales, business development, or operations within the industry and be able to translate that network into a staffing business with Labor Solutions.
  • Roles at this level typically require a university/college degree. Industry-relevant experience is typically 5+ years. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience may be considered.
