Job Description
Metro Services is looking to immediately hire local and travel Teacher Assistants for Education Centers in Fairfax, VA. This is a temp/contract position. Apply Now!
Duties for this position include:
- Assist the preschool teacher with curriculum, bulletin boards, lesson plans, and assessments
- Ensure a safe and healthy environment
- Create and maintain a positive atmosphere for the students
- Supervise students on the playground
- Greet parents and prospective families
Compensation (USD):
$14.00 - $16.00/hour
Daily Per Diem
Schedule:
Monday - Friday
Minimum of 30 school days
Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
- High School Diploma and CDA, or Associate's Degree with some education classes, or Bachelor's Degree with some education classes
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Speak, write, and read English
- Lift 25 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs.
