Carolina Pediatric Therapy is a unique, dynamic, and mission-minded company that provides integrated care to children (ages birth through school-age) and their families. Carolina Peds is looking to expand our psychological testing and therapy services by adding a licensed psychology associate (LPA) or licensed psychologist (LP) to provide outpatient testing and therapy services to children ages birth through school-age within our multidisciplinary clinics.

Psychological testing responsibilities include opportunities to participate on a multidisciplinary Autism Diagnosis Team, testing for various charter schools in the area, as well as family or pediatrician referrals related to determining appropriate diagnoses, including ADHD and Learning Disabilities. Collaboration with the various systems (i.e. medical teams, family, school) in which the child or family is involved is a vital part of our approach to care in an attempt to increase the opportunities for child/family success and skill application across various settings and systems. Providing therapy services could also be integrated into this position if the Psychological Associate or Psychologist has experience with providing evidence-based treatments, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy or other trauma informed practices.

Requirements:
  • Licensure in Psychology.
  • Two years’ experience with pediatrics preferred.
  • Experience and training in evidence-based treatments.
  • Experience and training in various psychological tests.
  • Experience in organizing work and maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to create and work in a cooperative teamwork environment.
  • Experience working with children with multiple disabilities and/or behavioral challenges preferred.
  • Ability to create and work in a cooperative teamwork environment.
