The Boar's Head is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager for the Mill Room! As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for assisting and coordinating the food and beverage service of the Mill Room and Room Service. Some essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the hiring, onboarding and training of department staff.
- Maintain a presence on the floor, assisting in guest service.
- Maintain knowledge of scheduling, forecasting and payroll.
- Assist in wine inventory, purchasing and control.
- Conduct informative daily line-ups/pre-shifts.
- Promote a can-do positive environment.
- Closely monitor guest dining experiences.
- Responsible for opening and closing checklists.
In order to be considered, you must meet the following requirements:
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- At least 2 years supervisory experience in a fine dining restaurant.
- Experience developing wine and beverage program/s.
- Computer proficiency.
- Experience directing staff of similar size and quality.
- Strong budgetary, forecasting and cost control skills.
