HVN - ACCOUNTING TEAM MEMBER

POSITION: HVN - Accounting Team Member

REPORTS TO: Accounting / Finance Manager

AIRPORT: Tweed - New Haven Airport

SUMMARY: The Accounting Team Member is a Part-Time position providing assistance and support to the accounting office. These duties include accounts payable and receivable processing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process Accounts Payable

• Collect invoices, ensuring invoices are obtained on a timely basis

• Ensure a W9 is on file for all vendors

• Add invoice to Purchase Order system if a Purchase Order was used

• Obtain approval signatures on all invoices to be paid

• Code invoices to proper entity and GL accounts

• Upload and enter invoices into corporate accounting system

• Maintain vendor and monthly accounts payable electronic files

• Respond to vendor inquires

• Ensure spending is in line with set budget

• Assist with Accounts Receivables

• Work at the direction of the Accounting/Finance Manager

• Other ad hoc assignments as assigned by management.

• Assist the accounting/finance manager finance, invoicing, purchase orders, and requisitions.

• Stay informed about all organizational changes and business developments.

• Maintain acceptable attendance and performance.

• All other duties as assigned.
