Job Description

We have an immediate need for a dependable all-round farm worker with groom/stable hand experience. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment, mowing, and general maintenance as well as landscaping on the farm and assisting in the grooming and care of our horses. Automotive and farm equipment, mechanical experience as well as handyman skills and landscaping experience are a plus. Responsibilities

Assisting in care for our horses and stalls and the overall health of the barn.
Build, mend, paint fencing
Cut, rake, and tether hay
Perform basic equipment maintenance and cleaning
Assist with other general labor tasks as needed
mow and general landscaping

Qualifications

Previous experience working with horses as a farm hand is required
Valid driver's license
Experience operating tractors and other farming equipment
Availability to work overtime when necessary
Physical stamina

We are located in the historic district of Woodford County surrounded by triple crown-winning horse farms. Our farm has been here since 1856 and we have owned it since 2012.
