Commercial HVAC Technician

Persons Services is looking for a talented Senior HVAC Technician to join our growing Industrial Mechanical Division. This position will focus on service and repair of a variety of heating and cooling systems in commercial and industrial facilities. As someone who will be traveling to various customer locations, representing Persons Services, it is critical for the Technician to uphold the Persons Services core values, with a primary focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Installation of HVAC Systems, line sets, condensate drains and electrical feeds
• Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for both commercial and industrial customers
• Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of various HVAC systems
• Test and locate leaks in Refrigerant Systems
• Diagnose diverse service issues, obtain any replacement parts, calibrate system to manufacturers recommendations
• Communicate effectively with all internal departments and customers to keep informed on work performed, parts procurement, and status updates
• Participate in company-provided training opportunities on the latest industry technologies

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining chillers, cooling towers, boilers, air handlers, and various other HVAC equipment
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read Blueprints, Plans, Electrical Schematics, Control Drawings.
• Excellent customer service skills with a desire to exceed customer expectations
• Ability to work independently, with a focus on quality and safety
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds; able to maneuver heavier items (with the assistance of appropriate equipment); and work from heights on ladders or lifts
• Able to work in all weather environments
