Job Description:

The CIO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's information technology (IT) strategy and operations, including the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, with experience in leading and managing a team of IT professionals. They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to the changing needs of the business. In addition, the IT Director should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. The IT Director should also have experience with VMware, Active Directory, MDM, AWS, Google Workspace, Mac desktop environment, and application development.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives of the organization, utilizing technologies such as VMware, AWS, and Google Workspace
• Oversee the daily operations of the IT department, including the management of staff and the allocation of resources
• Collaborate with other business leaders to identify and address key IT needs and opportunities
• Maintain a strong understanding of the latest IT trends and technologies, and make recommendations for their adoption as appropriate
• Ensure the security and privacy of the company's data and systems through the use of tools such as MDM and Active Directory
• Manage the budget for the IT department and identify opportunities for cost savings
• Utilize agile methodologies, project management skills, and a focus on process improvement to effectively deliver IT projects and initiatives
• Provide coaching and development opportunities for team members to foster a positive and collaborative work environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management
• Proven track record of leading and managing a team of IT professionals
• Strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure, including experience with VMware, Active Directory, MDM, AWS, and Google Workspace
• Experience with application development and the Mac desktop environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and prioritize tasks accordingly
• Experience with agile methodologies, project management, and process improvement
• Familiarity with data warehousing principles and practices a plus
• Experience providing 24/7 support (weekdays and weekends)
• Experience in the analysis, installation, administration, and troubleshooting of all aspects of a client/server data network including multi-facility client/server network and system administration and support
