Med Surg RN- Nights(10K Bonus)

The Med Surg RN is responsible for providing direct patient care to patients in a medical-surgical unit. The RN will assess patients, develop and implement plans of care, and monitor patient progress. The RN will also collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Responsibilities of the Med Surg RN include:

• Administering medications and treatments
• Monitoring patient vital signs and intake and output
• Performing patient assessments and developing plans of care
• Collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients
• Educating patients and their families about their condition and treatment plan
• Documenting patient care in the medical record

Qualifications for the Med Surg RN include:

• ADN or BSN degree in nursing
• Current RN license in the state of employment
• Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam
• One year of experience as a Med Surg RN
• Strong clinical skills and judgment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
