Title: Sonography Supervisor

Location: Burlington, VT

Salary: Competitive six-figure salary based on experience and qualifications + Benefits.

Sing-On Bonus: $15,000

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for staffing and daily operations for a large Medical Center's Ultrasound Department.

Ensures compliance with regulatory agency mandates for quality imaging, control, and assurance.

Performs clinical procedures and oversees clinical instruction for students and sonographers.

Participates in development of Radiology policies and procedures.

Assists Radiology Manager with budgetary responsibilities and long-range planning.

Focuses on administrative duties and day-to-day staffing responsibilities.

Offers flexible schedule and occasional remote work to meet team needs.

Requires availability by phone to support staff and department during off-hours.

Operates in a 24/7 service environment with opportunities for flexible hours/schedule.

Manager of Breast Imaging, MRI, Ultrasound, and Radiology Support

Must Have

Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Has current certification in appropriate Radiology specialty (Sonography - ARDMS).

Five years of progressive experience in sonography, including breast ultrasound experience.

Must have participated in inspection and accreditation specific to Sonography (ACR).

EXPERIENCE WITH BUDGET PLANNING.

EXPERIENCE AS A LEAD SONOGRAPHER.

EXPERIENCE IN A UNIONNIZED WORK ENVIROMENT.
