As an accounting associate, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and providing vital administrative assistance to the accounting department. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Data Entry: Entering and managing financial data into operational software or databases, ensuring records are up-to-date and precise.
- Processing Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable: Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
- Accounting: Prepare daily journal entries
- Providing administrative support: Undertake general administrative tasks within the finance department, including filing and providing support to team members.
- An associate degree in the field of accounting or a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting, preferred.
- Familiarity with the maintenance of organized financial records and comprehending journal entries.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- A minimum of 1 year of professional work experience.
