IT Support Technician / AV Support Technician

Your role will be pivotal, driving installations and providing top-notch support for our groundbreaking digital signage and interactive experiences projects within healthcare, manufacturing, and museum settings. Picture yourself spearheading the setup and servicing of digital signage displays, LED video walls, interactive kiosks, projection systems, and even captivating 3D holograms.

We’re seeking someone with a knack for problem-solving, a solid grip on the IT/AV industry, strong professionalism and excellent communication skills to service our CT clients on-site, delivering top-tier technical support and seamless installations.

What You’ll Do:

• Offer technical support for our clients’ extensive digital signage networks, both remotely and on-site, utilizing our branded company vehicle for fieldwork.
• Configure and install cutting-edge digital signage systems and immersive digital experiences directly at client locations.
• Collaborate with subcontractors during installations and work hand-in-hand with the Quast Media team to implement the latest technologies for digital experiences.
• Conduct scheduled software maintenance and audits, while diligently documenting support requests and maintaining inventory records.
• Efficiently troubleshoot, diagnose, and either repair or replace hardware components as needed.
• Provide essential support to the Project Manager, overseeing site installation teams, communicating daily job site statuses, and completing necessary job documentation.
• Manage the upload and scheduling of digital signage content for our clients, also offering software training when required.

What You Bring:

• A college degree or certification in Information Technology, Audio Visual Technologies, or a related field, coupled with a solid 4 years’ experience in IT/AV support.
• Extensive knowledge across Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, and Android OS.
• A strong blend of organizational prowess and problem-solving skills, crucial for decision-making and problem resolution.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport, active listening, and effective questioning.
• Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written, ensuring comprehensive understanding of technical matters and solutions.
• Adaptability in fast-paced environments, a penchant for quick learning, and the ability to master diverse technologies and software.
• Strong documentation and time management abilities, driven, proactive, and exceptionally organized in managing equipment inventory.
• Comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously, excelling under pressure, and maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
• Possession of a valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record, along with daily accessibility to our Manchester office.
