The position is a unique opportunity to
- Join a company that designs, builds, and operates new-technology-based telecom networks in the education, healthcare, enterprise, and carrier industries throughout the U.S.

- The Conterra Network Engineering team is a small team of dedicated professionals. Expect to work in a dynamic environment where priorities and duties may shift quickly.
- The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is able to independently solve problems with minimum of guidance.
What you will be doing
- Discover and maintain relationships between Conterra and 3rd party permitting agencies (i.e. DOT, City, County, Pole Owners)
- Accountable for understanding and implementing all requirements proposed by each permitting agency
- Maintain entire permitting process as it pertains to submissions and approvals of all applications
- Work alongside Engineering staff to acquire application prints in accordance to requirements set by each agency
- Create and keep a Status Tracker of each application filed
- Develop presentation documents as it pertains to any meetings requiring Conterra to be present
What you will need
- Microsoft Office Suite skills – must be able to quickly learn and produce documentation to Conterra standards.
- Adobe PDF application skills – must be able to create and modify documentation given within this format
- Professional level of knowledge with fiber optic networks and components. Past or current FOA Certification is a plus.
- Professional level of design knowledge and best practices is considered a plus.
- Great communication skills to be able to discuss project scopes internally and externally.
- Qualified candidates must have strong background in operations with a minimum of 5 years working in engineering related job roles.
- Travel Requirements – 5 to 20%
