The kitchen production position will be responsible for preparing a variety of products,
including fudge, corns, brittles, caramel and/or chocolate dipped items, waffle
cones/bowls and many more. In addition, this position will be expected to assist with a
variety of duties when not preparing products, with a primary focus on ensuring
customers have an outstanding experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Greets and interacts with customers
2. Answers customer questions and makes sales suggestions
3. Has a working knowledge of product offerings
4. Makes product following Kilwins-approved recipes
5. Follows proper regulations for food handling
6. Assists with restocking and setting up displays
7. Operates Point of Sale (POS) system
8. General cleaning; dust, sweep, mop, and wash windows, empty garbage
9. Packs boxes and baskets
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
1. Ability to operate POS system and count back change
2. Ability to work well with others, listens well and follows direction
3. Must be customer service oriented, with good personality and manners
4. Must read and speak English and have good communication skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
1. Current student or High School diploma/equivalent
2. Previous food preparation experience helpful, but not necessary
3. Previous sales experience helpful, but not necessary
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Must be able to lift 50 pounds
