Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Driver

Job Title: Non-Emergency Transportation Driver - Eugene, Oregon, and Grants Pass and Medford, Oregon.

Requirements:
* High School diploma or GED equivalent.
* Must have a valid driver's license to drive clients to and from appointments in a company van and a clean, insurable driving record.
* Minimum 21 years of age to drive clients to WA, ID, NV, and CA appointments when needed.
* Have or be able to obtain a First Aid, CPR with an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Certification within 30 days of hire.
* Personal cell phone for GPS usage and dispatch communications.
* Perform excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preference:
* Experience working with aging adults facing mental, emotional, and physical limitations.

Employer Notes:
* The employer will conduct a drug screen and background and DMV records check upon hire.
* Employer will verify your valid driver's license and medical driver certification every 60 days (every four years).
* Work a flexible schedule and be reliable.

Job Duties:
* Provide excellent client care.
* Personnel will ensure all clients, equipment, and cargo are secured prior to driving the vehicle.
* Ensure all clients on scooters are transferred out of the scooter, into a seat, and secured in the vehicle.
* Load and unload clients who use wheelchairs.
* Ensure wheelchairs face forward during transit.
* Phone clients ahead of time to confirm appointment information.
* Routinely communicate with the dispatcher.
* Fuel van as necessary and maintain a clean interior and exterior.

Days and Hours: Part-time, Monday - Saturday, available for 12-hour workdays, flexible schedule
