Job Title: Enterprise Information Security Professional
Type of Job: Contract (Full-Time)
Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm M-F
Pay: $55.00 - $59.00
Location: Houston, TX 77002 (Hybrid at Discretion of Manager)
The Enterprise Information Security Professional will help the Security Operations team and Security program/projects to raise Information Security maturity. You will oversee the Security operation which includes Threat, Vulnerability, Infrastructure security, end point, Identity, Access Control, and day to day security functions. You should be familiar with various Cloud computing models to include IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS along with their architectural differences. Security is essential to what we do here, from protecting our customers to our community.
Requirements
The Enterprise Information Security Professional will provide oversight of information security operations that support the day-to-day security functions of the company. In this role, the responsibilities will include:
- Manage, coordinate, and execute proactive Information Security efforts to the business and technology teams covering Threat & Vulnerability, Infrastructure Security (End Point/IT Infra), Identity Management, Data Security, SOC and User Access/Identity Management.
- Serve as an expert in Security operations, run capabilities, solutions, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborating with enterprise GRC teams and tech architects in defining and driving the cyber strategy and guiding principles for the architecting and designing of the IT platforms.
- Support security architecture and implementation needs for technology efforts.
- Overseeing all security operations related dependencies across the multiple components being built for the cyber security program.
- Escalate and manage cyber security risk.
- Provide ad hoc support on special Information Security hot topics for the ISO/CTO consumption.
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership on the overall Information Security health and risk environment.
- Work with security operation teams to drive their day-to-day activity and meet set objectives.
- Support the team on collectively mapping technologies to a standardized framework to adopt and execute on best practices in risk reduction through the configuration of cybersecurity tools and platforms.
- Support the development, modification, and use of capability, risk, or threat classification frameworks and standardization methodologies to facilitate the conduct of correlative capability, maturity, and effectiveness evaluations.
- Support data validation and communications on the impact of identified operational, compliance, process, control, and tooling gaps and potential remediation courses of action to multiple audiences, including leadership, to support the enhancement of their cybersecurity postures.

Experience:
- At least 8 years of experience working in cybersecurity or information technology.
- At least 7 years of experience running security operations at a large organization.
- At least 7 years of experience performing & cyber security risk monitoring or security related functions.
- At least 4 years of experience with cloud security
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent or a Masters with relevant experience.
- 6+ years of experience in securing on prem and cloud environment (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
