Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Construction Helper to join our team as a 1099 contractor for the construction and installation of backyard structures. As a Construction Helper, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the construction and installation process, ensuring that our clients' backyard structures are built to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the construction and installation of various backyard structures, such as patio covers, pergolas and gazebos.
- Dig holes and set anchors to secure structures to the ground.
- Follow instructions from the project lead and work collaboratively with the team to complete projects within specified timelines.
- Handle tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Carry out tasks such as measuring, cutting, drilling, and assembling materials.
- Prepare construction sites by removing debris and ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Conduct thorough job site clean-up, ensuring the removal of dust, debris, tools, and equipment to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Travel to different locations in Southern California to complete installations.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in construction or a similar field is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and equipment.
- Ability to climb ladders and work from heights.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Must be able to reliably commute to different locations in Los Angeles and Orange County

Compensation:
As a 1099 contractor, compensation rates D.O.E.
