Outside Sales Representative – Recycling/Mining Industry
Location: New Jersey
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 base + Uncapped Commission (OTE $100k+) + Bonus
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401k + match, PTO offered
Job Type: Full-Time
Typical Hours: M-F, 40 hours Flexible
Start Date: ASAP
Territory: State of New Jersey, surrounding states if leads are established
Travel: 3 hours by car – anywhere in NJ

Outside Sales Representative – Recycling/Mining Industry Description

Our client, a leading Recycling, Mining, and Quarry Parts firm dedicated to delivering high-quality projects and exceptional customer satisfaction, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Representative to join their team in New Jersey. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying and securing new clients. Your primary focus will be on cultivating relationships, understanding client needs, and effectively communicating the value proposition of services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, a background in construction, recycling, mining, or quarrying, and the ability to charm and influence potential clients. Our client is looking for someone who has the initiative to plan out their client meetings strategically. Sales can occur anywhere in New Jersey, with 3+ client meetings a day. Make the best use of time and travel to ensure client meetings happen efficiently. This is a great opportunity to join a stable firm and take on the sales for the NJ Territory.

Outside Sales Representative – Recycling/Mining Industry Responsibilities

• Identify and target potential clients in the state of New Jersey
• Follow up on every lead given
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
• Actively listen to potential clients to ensure correct parts/pieces are recommended
• Negotiate with clients when presenting job bids
• Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and quarterly targets
• Engage clients in relationship-building activities such as networking events, dinners, fundraisers
• Maintain updated records on all client activity in the CRM
• Follow through entire sales cycle with client (1-6 months) and ensure satisfactory completion
• Maintain client relationships to produce repeat business

Outside Sales Representative – Recycling/Mining Industry Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales experience with a proven track record required
• Experience in Mining, Quarrying, Recycling, OR Construction industry required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
• Ability to travel around New Jersey required
