POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for coordinating, supervising daily operations of 45 bed chronic pediatric children's facility. Directs the delivery of care by department personnel to ensure patient outcomes are achieved, high quality care is delivered and the patient experience is enhanced. Fosters and maintains positive working relationships among staff, physicians and medical center personnel to ensure collaboration. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the age of the patients served.

Exceptional Care for Children (ECC) is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization committed to providing the highest quality of care and services to pediatric patients requiring transitional, long term, and/or palliative care. We are an around-the-clock residential facility that provides skilled care to medically fragile children, birth to age 21, who have a technology dependency. ECC simply exists to provide a vulnerable population with as many normal of a childhood experiences as possible, while meeting their needs holistically.
