Accounting Generalist

We have a challenging and exciting opportunity for an Accounting Generalist with excellent communication and organizational skills who wants to grow their career with a rapidly growing company. The position will report directly to the Controller.

Primary Purpose:

The Accounting Generalist will be responsible for the timely and accurate entry of AR, AP, cash reconciliation and general ledger transactions into ERP system, as well as assist with all other divisional accounting entries as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and organize all customer records.
• Process all customer and vendor invoices and credit memos.
• Collect and process payment from customers and vendors, and accurately record it into the system.
• Manage a weekly collection process: calls and emails.
• Research, track and resolve any issues.
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Review and enter new customer and vendor information.
• Ad-hoc projects, reporting and account reconciliations, and other assignments as needed to support the finance team.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Advanced Excel Skills (pivots, lookups).
• A high level of customer service ability.
• Strong attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently, creatively problem solve, and work through ambiguity.
• The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.

Education/Certification:

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
