Preconstruction Senior Estimator Manager GC Commercial Construction.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record with a GC / Commercial Construction company while being professional and a motivated self-starter with a minimum of 5 years proven successful Commercial Construction as Senior Project management experience.

Preconstruction Estimator Position

Our company is looking for a Preconstruction Estimator to join our clients team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with collection of historical database information;
• Lead Preconstruction services and estimate preparation for smaller projects and present to owners;
• Review project information and requirements with subcontractors;
• Good interaction with other Rodgers departments/operations;
• Estimating Software / Earthworks / On Screen Takeoff;
• Assist with compilation and distribution of pricing documents;
• Develop scopes of work for specific trades;
• Bid Package Manual;
• Quantity take off;
• Plans & Specification reading;
• Assist the lead Preconstruction person with project pricing information compilation;
• Review subcontractor pricing proposals.

• Posses strong communication & interpersonal skills;
• Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail;
• Strong leadership & coaching skills and has the ability to positively influence others.
• Knowledge & Skills:
  Strong technical and communication skills are critical. Excellent organizational, and problem-solving skills. Above average computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Project and knowledge of Procore or similar construction software.
  
  Proficiency with On Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam a plus
  
  Ability to estimate projects.
  Self-motivated with keen attention to detail. Ability to work in a team environment. Strong Computer skills and experience with Estimating Software / Earthworks / On Screen Takeoff.
