Job Description
Candidate Qualifications
- minimum of 5 years experience with health and safety in a manufacturing environment
- experience in preparing safety reports and safety bulletins
- ability to identify and develop short and long-term safety goals
- expert in identifying hazards, implementing corrective processes, and conducting safety training
- ability to perform incident and injury investigations, root causes analysis, and corrective actions
- leads daily health, safety, and environmental operations
- detail-oriented
- ability to easily build relationships and engage compliance of safety initiatives with all levels of team members and management
- proactive and process-driven
- familiar with legal/governmental requirements
- ability to manage safety-related contracts and budget
