Licensed Practical Nurse

LPN Intermediate Care - Philadelphia, PA - $35-40-/hr

Work Schedule: Day/Night shifts available

Facility: VA Medical Center

Start Date: Approx-May/June 2024

Contract Length: minimum 1 year; with option to extend

Job description:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide patient compassionate care at the bedside of our patients every day. You will develop and maintain positive relationships with our patients, guests, and other team members by striving for excellence in service and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively managing the care of assigned patients using knowledge, skills, judgment, and decision-making skills for the specific area and patient population

• Delivering patient care utilizing standardized evidence-based guidelines of care and appropriate resources, including personnel, services, supplies, and equipment

• Communicating, collaborating, and functioning with other members of the health team to provide optimum care

Job requirements:

• Graduated from an accredited Practical Nursing LPN program.

• 3 years of experience in an Intermediate Care Unit / Med Surg / Tele / Step Down/ ICU 

• Valid LPN License in PA

• BLS/ACLS/ NIHSS
