Responsibilities
A Controller contributes to AHF by drawing on your experience and skills in understanding financial administration needs and the basic needs such as housing, food, and clothing and develop relationships with programs and agencies serving those in need to support and assist staff who work with your patients who lack those services. In this way you will support the patient’s ability to better understand their health status so that they can work to achieve their healthcare goals.
A Controller enhances the reputation of AHF by ensuring the financial health of the organization.

AHF has a collaborative organizational structure where staff are accountable to multiple leaders.
The Controller will work as a part of a close knit team to assist our staff to meet our clients where they are, identify strengths and opportunities for growth. With your skills of collaboration and engagement, you will bring the essence of financial literacy to the safety net for the uninsured HIV/AIDS clients - to our most vulnerable population.
