Grant Analyst- (Non-Profit Exp Needed)

As a Grant Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the financial management of grants within our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with grant requirements, monitoring grant expenditures, preparing financial reports, and assisting in budget development. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to navigate complex financial regulations will contribute to the success of our grant-funded projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Grant Compliance: Review grant agreements and guidelines to ensure compliance with funding requirements. Monitor changes in regulations and policies that may impact grant management.

2. Financial Monitoring: Track grant expenditures to ensure funds are utilized according to budget allocations and grant guidelines. Identify any discrepancies or variances and take appropriate corrective actions.

3. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for grant funders, including budget vs. actual analysis, expenditure reports, and other required financial documentation. Ensure reports adhere to funder's guidelines and deadlines.

4. Budget Development: Collaborate with program managers and finance team to develop grant budgets, including revenue projections, expense allocations, and indirect cost calculations. Provide financial insights and recommendations during the budgeting process.

5. Grant Administration: Assist in the preparation of grant proposals, budgets, and supporting documentation for new grant opportunities. Work closely with program staff to ensure grant proposals align with organizational goals and priorities.

6. Audit Support: Facilitate internal and external audits of grant-funded projects by providing documentation, supporting schedules, and responding to auditor inquiries. Ensure compliance with audit requirements and resolve any audit findings in a timely manner.

7. Compliance Monitoring: Implement processes and controls to monitor ongoing compliance with grant regulations, including procurement procedures, time and effort reporting, and documentation retention. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

8. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between the finance department, program staff, grant funders, and other stakeholders regarding financial matters related to grants. Communicate effectively to address inquiries, provide updates, and resolve issues.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in grant management, financial analysis, or related role preferred.
