Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring an Associate Manager to join our Provider Operations team.

About the role

You will optimize scheduling for all service lines to ensure operational efficiency and provider coverage. You will oversee a team focused on scheduling accuracy, efficiency, and strategy. Additionally, you will be responsible for auditing schedules, tracking administrative time, reporting on scheduling issues, and adjusting schedules based on operational metrics to enhance overall efficiency and performance.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Practice Administration

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington is: $84,800- $111,300 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $76,320 - $100,170 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities
  • Oversight of all service line schedules, including time off, call-outs, and escalations
  • Oversight of schedule design timelines and development
  • Collaborate with Virtual Operations team on schedule design and forecasting
  • Monitor accuracy of schedules and adequacy of provider coverage by state
  • Report on scheduling issues and provide daily readouts on progress to goals
  • Document and maintain standard operating procedures for provider scheduling, quality assurance, efficiency, and tracking
  • Payroll execution
  • Manage provider malpractice, expenses, reimbursement and tracking
  • Work with Product, IT, Legal and other Oscar departments
  • Work cross-collaboratively with other Oscar virtual care team members within projects representing practice management operations and ensuring project goals, timelines, and resources are aligned and communicated across and within teams
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in medical group/virtual care operations to include scheduling, schedule design and working directly with clinicians
  • 2+ years of experience working in a practice with a telemedicine offering
  • 2+ years of experience in Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • 2+ years experience leading teams
Bonus Points
  • Strong understanding of scheduling principles and practices
  • 1+ year of experience with 100% virtual or virtual first practice

Pay Transparency:

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, and experience.
