Job Description

AMHS Staffing Alliance the internal agency for the Albany Health System is looking for a Ultrasound Tech at Albany Medical Center Hospital.

Monday - Thursday 9:00pm - 7:30am / 13 weeks

Performs ultrasound examinations including duplex sonography for venous examinations under the direction of Radiologist. Utilizing independent judgment and rendering images to Radiologist. Experience in abdominal, ob./gyn, small parts, venous doppler ultrasound. Knowledgeable in the use of ultrasound equipment including range of transducers

13 week contracts

Overtime rate when working major holidays
Take up to two weeks off between contract if desired

Employee referral bonus for any traveler completing a 13-week contract - $250 for 1 referral, $500 for 2 referrals and $750 for 3 or more referrals.

All four hospitals within the AMHS system face ongoing challenges in Nursing recruitment to fill variable staffing needs.
