POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Distribution Sales Operations Analyst to join our team in the Medical Devices industry. As the Distribution Sales Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and supporting the overall sales strategy of our organization. A primary function will be to drive company performance with Service Levels, EDI Functionality, Shipments, Allocation of Product, and other Logistical Requirements with customers to avoid costly penalties. This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical-minded professional who is passionate about utilizing data and analytics to drive sales performance and make data-driven business decisions.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

The specific minimum competencies needed to perform the essential duties of the job include knowledge, skills, abilities, level of education, and experience necessary for successful performance. These competencies are generally demonstrated through specific service, education, or training.

Level of Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales analysis, preferably within the medical devices industry (customer, enterprise sales org.)

Level of Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or related field

Travel:

  • As needed up to 25% Travel

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The core tasks, duties, and responsibilities that must be performed on the job.

  • Customers Scorecard and Metrics Management.
  • Review data daily from customers and work cross functionally with all departments to ensure we do not pay non-compliance penalties
  • Analyze market trends and identify potential growth opportunities within the medical devices industry, specifically with the Acute Sales and Health Systems divisions.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to the Distribution Sales team based on data analysis and trends.
  • Develop and maintain sales reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for McKesson Preferred, Cardinal Performance +, Owens Preferred, and Tri-anim Platinum
  • Manage scorecards for all distributors.
  • Forecast sales trends and develop sales projections for strategic planning purposes.
  • Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to develop pricing strategies and optimize profitability.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses of competitors in the market.
  • Provide necessary sales and market analysis for customer specific QBRs
  • Assist sales leadership with monthly and quarterly sales reporting.
