Jr Data Engineer

- Job Title: Jr Data Engineer - Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite) - Work Authorization: US Citizen, Greencard Holder, TN Visa, H1B Transfer, EAD, H4-EAD - Main Duties: Participate in moderately complex initiatives, identify opportunities for process improvements within database engineering, review and analyze basic database engineering assignments, develop understanding of function policies, procedures and compliance requirements, provide information to client personnel in database engineering. - Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of Database Engineering experience or equivalent (can be demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education). - Required Skills: Data Warehousing (1 year of experience), Data Analytics (1 year of experience), Data Engineer (1 year of experience), Data Integration (1 year of experience), Data Mapping (1 year of experience), Data Reporting (1 year of experience), Data Visualization (1 year of experience), Data Warehouse (1 year of experience). - Preferred Skills: ETL (2 years of experience), data pipelines (1 year of experience). - Other Requirements: Familiarity with Infrastructure Management, Database Management, experience with platforms like Teradata, Hadoop, ETL Technologies, Ab Initio, Informatica, understanding of industry best practices. - Role Importance: The position is critical for creating a consistent operating model across Teradata ETL and Hadoop in the areas of roadmap creation, tracking technology refresh planning, consumption analysis, and future hardware and software forecasts. Will help improve Vulnerability Remediation and Tech Refresh cycles, hence improving Risk Management.
