Job Description
This position is only open to C2C candidates. This role is fully on-site in Brooklyn, NY. 

Rate: $90-95/hour
 

Role Overview: We are seeking an Integration Specialist with extensive experience in NextGen 911 systems and telephony. The ideal candidate will review and enhance our system integration processes to ensure superior performance and compliance with public safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document Review: Critically analyze and provide feedback on business and requirements analysis, as well as design documents.
  • Plan Evaluation: Review test, implementation, and cutover plans to ensure they are comprehensive and aligned with project objectives.
  • Expert Advisory: Offer guidance and advice to both operational and technical team members.
  • Requirement Understanding: Grasp both technical and operational customer requirements to ensure accurate system functionality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with business partners to coordinate and support testing efforts effectively.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Integration Experience: Minimum of 12 years, including experience with VOIP.
  • Public Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with public safety protocols and practices.
  • Standards Proficiency: Knowledge of NENA Next Gen 911 standards.
  • Call Center Experience:
    • Conducted business and technical requirement analysis, testing, and execution in support of call center campaigns.
    • Managed IVR Scripting, oversaw call center client interactions, and performed hands-on troubleshooting at both the desktop and application levels.
  • Educational Background: BS/BA degree.
  • System Experience: Experience supporting major call center systems such as Vesta, Genesys, Five9, NICE CXone, Twilio, Avaya, RingCentral.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of VOIP, SIP, RTP, SS7 protocols.
  • NG911 Expertise: Capable of evaluating and recommending NG911 solutions, focusing on ESINet and NGCS network architecture.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to NYC policies, procedures, standards, and best practices for NENA-i3 compliant network and infrastructure design.
  • Lifecycle Management: Experience with standard software development lifecycle processes.
  • Documentation Skills: Ability to effectively write and critique business and requirements analysis documents.
  • Testing and Configuration: Skilled in developing comprehensive test plans, use cases, and scenarios; defining expected testing outcomes; analyzing and triaging defects. Experience configuring Oracle’s Session Border Controller preferred.
