Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee and lead various aspects of our organization, ensuring efficient operations and strategic growth. The Director of Property and Casualty (P&C) Regulation and Policy oversees the daily functions of the P&C policy, form and filing review, and the worker comp/self-insurance related work. In addition to managing the applicable teams, the Director provides consultation and support to the Deputy Commissioner of Insurance and other Commerce leadership on P&C insurance regulation, policy issues and strategies, and provides input on relevant enforcement matters.
Duties:
- Overseeing managers and day-to day operations to ensure programs are current and in compliance with Federal and state laws.
- Representing the Department of Commerce in committees, task forces and working groups of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and in other relevant organizations.
- Evaluating and analyzing data, legal documents, and other relevant information to support regulatory and policy work.
