Job Summary Conestoga Title Insurance Co. seeks an individual for the position of Title and Escrow Auditor. This important position is responsible for conducting onsite and remote audits of title insurance agent escrow/trust accounting records and real estate settlement files.

This position is hybrid-remote. It requires day trips to agent offices, occasional days in the Company’s home office in Lancaster, PA and allows for remote work the balance of days. Preferred candidates will reside in and around Lancaster county. Responsibilities and Duties Coordinates and schedules in-person and remote audits of Company’s agents Executes detailed audit procedures Reviews escrow/trust account bank statements and reconciliations for completeness and accuracy Reviews real estate settlement files for proper documentation and compliance with underwriting standards Reports findings and recommendations to agents and senior management at the conclusion of each audit Conducts follow-up on deficiencies identified in audits Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor Adheres to company policies and guidelines Qualifications and Skills Experience in the title insurance industry preferred, but willing to train a candidate with strong analytical skills looking for a long term career with an established company A college degree is preferred, but not required depending on experience A valid state driver’s license and a clean driving record are required. Automobile travel will be required to conduct on-site audits.

A company car will be provided. Some very limited overnight travel may be required from time to time.
