McGregor PACE, is an innovative community based Program of All-Inclusive Care for the elderly. A PACE program with an Interdisciplinary team that takes great pride in its provision of primary & specialty medical care, therapies, social services, home care, transportation and therapeutic activities that enables participants to remain "independent and living in their own homes for as long as possible!".

At McGregor PACE, our Quality Specialist is responsible for assisting the Quality Director in all healthcare related data collection and the overall creation, implementation, and execution of the Quality Improvement Program.

Our ideal candidate will have passion for research, with “relevant work experience” and skill sets to include a high attention to detail, grammatical proficiency and excellent written/verbal communication skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Responsible for tracking all participant falls and reporting to the appropriate regulators.
  2. Gain knowledge and understanding of the PACE Manual and PACE regulations.
  3. Performs routine tracking and trending of quality related data (falls, grievances, immunizations, etc).
  4. Assists in the reporting of PACE Quality Monitoring Data (with and without root cause analysis) to state and federal regulators.
  5. Assists with the oversight of the Service Determination Request (SDR) process including tracking, monitoring, and auditing.
  6. Assists with the oversight of appeals and grievances procedures.
  7. Audits of the Electronic Health Record including critical events and level of care assessment compliance.
  8. Assists in the creation and submission of various reports monthly, quarterly, and on an as needed basis.
  9. Assists the Quality Director in data collection and the creation and implementation of various quality improvement projects.
  10. Other duties as assigned.

In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities, our ideal candidate must possess the following relevant skills and experience:

Proficient analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify trends for ongoing quality improvement..

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This role requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. These requirements are representative of the knowledge, skillsets and essential abilities. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Proven customer focused experience and strong organizational skills are required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. High School diploma or equivalency; Associate degree preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents and the ability to write routine reports to include root cause analyses.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Must be proficient in Microsoft applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: N/A

Reliable transportation with valid Ohio driver's license required
