This position is responsible for overseeing the sales and catering services which involves developing and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying and ensuring that all events are executed to the highest standards of quality and customer service. The position is also responsible for coordinating with other departments such as marketing and operations in the efforts to develop and build new business for the Hotel. The job requires excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, as well as strong understanding of catering, banquet and events industry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three years’ experience booking & executing weddings up to 250 guests, business seminars, private parties, anniversaries, graduations etc. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and Holidays
- Commitment to outstanding customer service and providing memorable guest experiences
- Ability to prospect and conduct sales presentations and negotiate contracts with prospective clients
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Seeking a professional with a strong understanding of what clients need for their events
- Responsible for ensuring that each event is executed flawlessly, and that clients are satisfied with the services provided
- Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients will become an essential component of the role
- Ensure that all clients’ requests are received and delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulations
- Excellent in problem-solving skills, the ability to multitask, and a passion for working in a private hotel
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan and execute events such as meetings, conferences, and banquets, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments, such as culinary and housekeeping, to ensure smooth event coordination
- Act as the primary point of contact with clients and respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare sales and revenue reports and analyze performance metrics to improve sales strategies
- Maintain accurate records of event details, including attendee count, menu selections, and billing information
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients and vendors to ensure profitability and effectiveness
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to drive repeat business and referrals
- Work closely with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and strategies to attract new clients
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly to remain competitive in the market

- A 10% Bonus is paid out quarterly if assigned goals are met concerning revenue, food & labor
- Relocation Expenses are available up to $2500 with a 2-year commitment. (If 2-year commitment is not fulfilled, the relocation expenses will be deducted from final paychecks)
