Job Description

Job Title: Home-Based Cruise Customer Service

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients interested in booking cruises, offering expert guidance and personalized recommendations tailored to their preferences and interests.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their cruise preferences, including destination, cruise line, cabin type, and onboard activities, to create customized cruise itineraries.
  • Research cruise options, itineraries, and amenities offered by various cruise lines to provide informed recommendations and advice to clients.
  • Coordinate all aspects of cruise bookings, including cabin selection, dining reservations, shore excursions, and onboard activities, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for clients.
  • Liaise with cruise lines, travel vendors, and shore excursion operators to confirm bookings, resolve any issues, and ensure the highest level of service for clients.
  • Proactively communicate with clients to provide updates on their cruise bookings, answer inquiries, address concerns, and assist with any special requests or accommodations.
  • Maintain accurate records of cruise bookings, payments, and client communications using our booking system and other digital tools.
  • Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients before, during, and after their cruises, ensuring a memorable and stress-free experience from start to finish.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in cruise sales, concierge services, or a related customer service field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and cruise partners.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and online platforms for research, communication, and booking cruise arrangements.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving abilities to navigate challenges and address client needs and concerns.
  • Genuine passion for travel and cruising, with a desire to create exceptional experiences for clients.
