CNC Machinist/Programmers

Northern Kentucky Machine is seeking talented CNC Machinist/Programmers to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. In our climate controlled Northern Kentucky facility.

The CNC Machinist/Programmer must be capable of reading engineering drawings and CAD models to produce unique precision parts. Ideal candidate should also have experience in programming, setup, and operation of a variety of machine tools including CNC Mills and CNC Lathes. Experience in the manufacturing of components from exotic materials, such as Titanium, is a plus. 5-axis and/or mill-turn experience is a plus. Applicant must be able to work on different projects in an ever changing, rapid paced R&D environment with little or no assistance.

Basic Qualifications

Candidates must possess a High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.

Candidates must have at least one (1) year of machine tool technology and/or credentials verifying formal training in machining technology.

Candidates must have at least One (1) years of precision machining experience on CNC Mills & CNC Lathes.

Candidate must be able to work a 5-days per week, 8-10 hours per shift work schedule.

Candidate must be able to work overtime when required

Other Qualifications

Preference shown to candidates who have experience and/or working knowledge of:

• 5 axis machining experience
• (2) years of 2D & 3D experience with a CAM software tool, Gibbs Cam Preferred.
• Experience machining in a Prototype/Job Shop environment.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment, read plots and blueprints, and interpret Geometric, Dimensioning, and Tolerancing (GD & T).
