Testing Laboratory QA/QC Coord/Trainer M-F 8am -4:30pm

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Kentucky Blood Center is seeking a qualified self-motivated Testing Laboratory QA/QC Coordinator/Trainer to oversee the quality control and quality assurance activities of the Testing Laboratory. This position will coordinate with the Testing Laboratory Manager in developing, administering, and evaluating proficiency and competency evaluations . Coordination, delegation, and/or training of new and existing employees.

Qualifications:

• MT (ASCP); MLS(ASCP); CLS(ASCP) (4-Year degree)
• MS Office proficiency with the ability to navigate and enter information web applications and custom systems.
• Prior laboratory experience required; background in Quality Control and/or training, a plus
• Requires the visual ability to differentiate and identify specific colors, and various shades
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, and be proficient with MS Office, with the ability to navigate web applications, and custom systems
• Proof of education/certifications required during the interview process
