Paralegal - Jefferson City
The Office of the Missouri Attorney General has an opening for a Paralegal in its Consumer Protection Section in Jefferson City, Missouri. Duties include assisting with joint investigations into consumer fraud and white collar crime, investigating and preparing cases for trial in state and federal courts, electronic document review, drafting court documents, handling discovery, assisting with depositions and witness preparation, maintaining electronic case files, and assisting attorneys in court appearances. Applicant must have a paralegal degree or equivalent education and experience, as well as strong organizational, writing, and communication skills. Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Access, and Excel is required. Salary range is $48,000 to $53,000.
