Location: St. Paul, MN

Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday, day shift

Rate: starting at $38+ per hour (negotiable based on experience)

What does this job look like daily?

• Assign and direct the daily tasks of service technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to schedules.
• Provide on-the-job training and coaching to technicians, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
• Coordinate with the parts department to ensure necessary parts are available for repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures, determining the best course of action for repairs.
• Oversee and participate in the repair, reconditioning, and maintenance of diesel engines and components.
• Prepare detailed service reports, documenting work performed and parts used.
• Plan and control the cost of repair jobs, ensuring budgetary alignment.
• Maintain company equipment, keeping it in good, clean, and orderly condition.
• Uphold all applicable safety policies and company standards, promoting a culture of safety first.
• Stay updated on company and product procedures and systems.

What do you need to do this job?

• 3+ years in diesel engine maintenance, with 1+ year in a leadership role. More extensive experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Heavy Duty Truck Technician certification. AAS degree and CDL Class A preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Advanced knowledge of diesel maintenance and diagnostics.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and navigate around equipment.
