Vander Hyde Mechanical, a family-owned business located on the Northwest side of Grand Rapids is seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher!

As a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will be the key point of contact for both customers and technicians. CSR’s are responsible for answering incoming calls, carefully listening to the callers’ needs, providing information about the services we provide and scheduling service calls to meet the needs of the customer. You will monitor routes and the statuses of technicians in the field, while prioritizing and coordinating other appointments that still need to be assigned.

A Qualified Customer Service Representative Duties & Responsibilities

Manage a large volume of incoming phone calls
Identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfaction
Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
Provide accurate, valid and complete information
Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
Respond in a timely and professional manner to incoming emails.
Scheduling and dispatching appointments for service technicians
Inform customers of additional products or services offered
