Whether you are in the pool leading instruction for our swimmers or warmly greeting our members in our tropical lobby as a front desk/sales representative, you are making an impact.

Primary Responsibilities for Swim Instructor/Lifeguard Staff:

• Provide swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum
• Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents. Make rescues and administer first aid when necessary
• Evaluate students’ progress and completes required paperwork in a timely manner
• Interact with parents/guardians on the activities and development of students’ swim skills
• Attend mandatory workshops and in-service paid training outside of regular working hours

Primary Responsibilities for Deck Supervisor Position:

• Use problem solving and creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges that students encounter
• Inspect pool areas before and after each class for possible maintenance, cleanliness or damage issues. Reports issues to management as appropriate
• Participate in setup and clean up of the pool area before and after shifts by: maintaining proper storage of pool equipment, placing and removing lane lines, clearing out skimmer baskets, and participating in pre and post shift meetings
• Report accidents and incidents to management. Complete required documentation and paperwork
• Perform light cleaning duties such as window washing, deck mopping, trash removal etc.
• Attend mandatory workshops and in-service paid training outside of regular working hours
• Other duties and responsibilities as needed

Primary Responsibilities for Front Desk Staff:

• Provide WOW! Customer Service to our members
• Assist with class scheduling and billing
• Work in a sales capacity to sell new memberships
• Comfortable with phone, email, and in-person member communication
• Perform light cleaning duties throughout the facility as scheduled
