Lead Bookkeeper

A State of the art Manufacturing facility headquartered in Las Vegas, Nevada is looking to hire a seasoned hands-on Accounting assistant. In this position, you will play an important role in supporting the accounting department, managing Accounts payable/receivables, and working closely with different departments within the company. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent knowledge of computers, and work well in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• · Effectively communicate and collaborate with various departments such as Sales, Warehouse, HR, and Production.

  · Effectively communicate with clients and vendors.

  · Sales Tax Reporting.

  · Follow up with suppliers as needed to confirm or change orders.

  · Organize office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures.

  · Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies.

Required Qualifications

• · 3+ years’ experience in accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable is a must.

  · 2+ years’ experience using QuickBooks is a must.

  · Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically excel.

  · Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  · Detail-oriented, organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  · Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
