PRIDESTAFF is currently seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a machine shop in the Park Forest, IL area! You will maintain and repair industrial production and processing machinery in a steel manufacturing environment.
1st shift
6:30am-3:00pm M-F
$22-$26 per hour DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
This client is open to apprentice-level candidates with a foundation of skills and motivation to learn and grow within the role.
Responsibilities:
- Repair, install, and adjust industrial machinery and pipeline manufacturing systems
- Troubleshoot and repair defective equipment
- Perform routine preventative maintenance
- Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in machinery or industrial maintenance
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
- Previous expereience/knowledge with HVAC and electrical skills a PLUS
- Ability to handle physical workload
