French translator (Remote)

Job description

We're looking for a skilled and reliable French Translator to join our team. Your main role will be to translate documents, emails, and other materials from English to French  and vice versa. If you're fluent in both languages and have a passion for helping people understand each other, we'd love to have you on our team!

Responsibilities

*Translate written documents, emails, and other materials from English to French and from French to English.

*Ensure accuracy and consistency in translation while maintaining the original meaning and tone.

*Proofread and edit translated texts to ensure quality and readability.

*Communicate effectively with team members to understand project requirements and deadlines.

*Research and use relevant terminology and industry-specific vocabulary to enhance translations.

*Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Requirements

*Fluent in both English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

*Proven experience as a translator or proficiency in translation techniques.

*Strong attention to detail and accuracy in translation.

*Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

*Familiarity with translation software and tools is a plus.

*Reliable internet connection and access to necessary technology for remote work.
