Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Specialized knowledge and/or experience in the subject area.
Ability to promote development of student’s physical attributes and social skills
Instructs indoor and outdoor games
Ability to instructs individuals or groups in calisthenics or other exercises
Demonstrate use of gym apparatus and equipment
Ability to exercise initiative, good judgment, and tact.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with the Lead Teacher, students, and parents.
Ability to utilize a variety of instructional materials and available multi-media and computer technology to enhance learning and integrate concepts.
Ability to speak English fluently and use English in a grammatically correct fashion.
Ability to remain flexible and to respond to schedule changes or unexpected task assignments with a calm demeanor.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to impart knowledge to students and information to parents and staff.
Ability to use Microsoft Word, Google classroom and school database to input grades. Must be able to use, or learn to use, a classroom smartboard.
Ability to pass background check
