Massage Therapist

Job Overview:

At Universal Strength Wellness Center, we strive to heal the Mind, Body, and Soul in the most holistic way possible, through massage therapy, and other modalities. Our motivation is to help our community to feel the best they can without the use of medications or surgeries, when possible.

We are looking for a full or part time employee who wants to learn, grow, and flourish within their massage career.

Responsibilities for Massage Therapist:

• Evaluate clients' soft tissue condition, joint quality and function, muscle strength, and range of motion. Develop and propose client treatment plans for clients healing and continued maintenance.
• Discuss with client their medical histories and any problems with stress and/or pain
• Maintain detailed and accurate treatment records of clients
• Attend and participate in meetings and training sessions

Qualifications for Massage Therapist:

• Must be Licensed or ability to obtain Provisional/Limited License
• Must provide valid insurance
• A small book of business is preferred, but not required
• Proficient knowledge in Swedish, prenatal, assisted stretching, sports, and deep tissue massage
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Great interpersonal skills
• Dexterous and able to stand for extended periods
• Ability to keep a well-groomed, professional appearance
• Ability to perform massages on diverse clients
