Job DescriptionCompany Description
We are seeking a Jewelry Sales Associate to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and identify customer needs
- Explain products and services to customers
- Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
- Enter and process customer orders in POS
- Enter and process customer repairs in Jewelers Shopkeeper Program
- Call clients/customers for repair pick up
- Set up and take down showcases daily, bending and stooping is a must
- Help keep show room and showcases clean and sanitize
Qualifications:
- Required experience in jewelry sales (non-negotiable)
- Knowledge of Jewelry, Diamonds, Color Gemstones, Findings, Gold, Silver
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build rapport with customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Computer Skills and Operation a must
Majestic Jewelers has been in business for 38 years; we are a full retail store, with jewelry repairs, custom design, engraving and more. Majestic has 6 jewelers on site plus 2 watch makers off site, we help other retail stores in the area with their repairs, diamond setting and more. Majestic also manufacturers employee award items for a large restaurant chain. We stay very busy and are a fast paced environment; our hours are Tuesday - Saturday with Sunday and Monday off (until December) and we take Saturday - Monday off occasionally.
