Registered Nurse / Hospice Care / On Call

Compensation: Base starting at around 40.00/hr (and up, based upon experience)

Job Summary:

This is an on-call opportunity. The primary need being nights and weekends outside of the regular care teams shifts. This role will triage calls and required in person visits for certain situations (death or a fall resulting in assessment need.)

Responsibilities:

Charting:

• Communication updates to full-time community nurse

Ongoing Monitoring and Reassessment:

• Implement necessary adjustments to ensure the highest quality of care.
  
  

Medication Management:

• Ensure that residents' medication records are up to date.
• Oversee proper medication administration procedures.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Active RN license and CPR certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospice setting.
• Current knowledge of best practices for medication and narcotics in assisted living and memory care.
• Must be a Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Well versed in Matrix Care and Better RX Pharmacy is preferred.
