Location: Brooklyn, NY
Salary: $60,000 - $100,000 base + Uncapped Commission (OTE $200k+)
Benefits: PTO offered
Job Type: Full-Time 
Typical Hours: M-F, 40 hours Flexible
Start Date: ASAP
Travel: Meet with 3 prospects a day; Utilize public transportation

Sales Development Rep – Construction Industry Description

Our client, a leading construction firm dedicated to delivering high-quality projects and exceptional customer satisfaction, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Representative to join their team in Brooklyn, NY. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying and following leads. Your primary focus will be on cultivating relationships, understanding prospective client needs, and effectively communicating the value proposition of services. The ideal candidate will have sales prospecting/ lead generation, a background in construction, and the ability to charm and influence prospective clients. Our client is looking for someone who has the initiative to plan out their prospect meetings strategically. Sales can occur anywhere in the 5 boroughs, with 3+ meetings a day. Make the best use of time and travel to ensure client meetings happen efficiently. This is a great opportunity to join a stable construction firm and take on the sales for the company.

Sales Development Rep – Construction Industry Responsibilities

•    Identify and target prospective clients within the five boroughs
•    Follow up on every lead given
•    Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
•    Actively listen to prospective clients to ensure correct estimation
•    Pass lead to the estimation team once a relationship is established with prospects
•    Negotiate with prospects when presenting job bids
•    Meet and exceed monthly sales goals and quarterly targets
•    Engage prospects in relationship-building activities such as events, dinners, fundraisers
•    Maintain updated records on all prospect activity in the CRM
•    Maintain client relationships to produce repeat business

Sales Development Rep – Construction Industry Qualifications

•    3+ years of sales prospecting/lead generation experience required
•    1+ years of construction industry experience preferred
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
•    Ability to travel around the 5 boroughs required
