Service Technician

Fiber-Seal technicians apply our proprietary stain-resistant products to fine furnishings like upholstery and rugs. We protect and then maintain these furnishings in the most beautiful homes in the Triangle area.

We partner with design professionals and upscale homeowners to keep custom-designed interiors looking spectacular, day after day, year after year. Our technicians receive extensive training in fabric/fiber knowledge and how to care for them properly. This makes Fiber-Seal technicians the most trusted in the industry.

We are searching for a person with a strong work ethic and attention to detail, who believes in getting the job done right without cutting corners. You will receive paid training directly from the company's owner and learn a skilled trade.

$40,000 - $45,000 yearly

• Apply fabric protection products on luxury furnishings and rugs in clients' homes and offices.
• Communicate effectively with clients to address their service needs and provide solutions.
• Remain current in technical training and develop expertise in fabric maintenance by attending additional paid training sessions.
• Transport and deliver client furniture, rugs, and cushions for cleaning and fabric protection.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided and report any issues or concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and guidelines while on job sites.

• Bachelor's degree or graduation from a two-year college program.
• If no degree, then 5 years of consistent work experience and the ability to provide references.
• Must be able to commute to and from North Raleigh each day (Creedmoor Rd & 540).
• Valid NC driver's license.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.

Fiber-Seal has been working with the interior design and furnishings communities in over 130 U.S. locations for more than 50 years. The Fiber-Seal office in Raleigh opened 5 years ago and is growing quickly throughout the Triangle area.

Our technicians apply our proprietary fabric protection products to upholstery and rugs to make them stain-resistant. We provide additional value-added services like free follow-up spot cleaning, upholstery, and rug cleaning for existing clients.
